MAPIC is one of the leading Real Estate oriented trade shows which relates directly to Commercial Real Estate. It takes place in Cannes, at the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès each November.

It is of vital importance to the Cannes local Economy and infrastructure. The organisers have a contract running until 2014 with the City of Cannes - *Press Release. The increase 2005 to 2006 was 21%, according to the Congress Organizers (REED MIDEM), which would make it the fastest Growing of Cannes Congresses. Lasting 3 days it essentially provides a hub of communication and deal-making for Commercial Real Estate companies.

The MAPIC organization, which also runs several other congresses during the year has a strong partnership with the City of CannesCity of Cannes

This event is very closely linked to another event in Cannes, which is the MIPIM congress, which is commonly held in the same venue each March. Whereas the MIPIM congress is highly orientated to Real Estate in General, and is thus far bigger, MAPIC concentrates on the Commercial Real Estate sector.

The next MAPIC tradeshow is scheduled to be held in Cannes at the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès from the 14th to 16th November 2007.
